Sign And Return Your Petition

On June 23rd, 80,000 I-1068 petitions were inserted in The Stranger. Why? Because it’s been a truly awful Spring weather-wise and it’s been hard for our hundreds of volunteer signature gatherers to cross paths with you. We can fix that right now.

After you get a petition from The Stranger or elsewhere, sign your copy of I-1068, using the address where you’re registered to vote. You must be a registered voter in Washington State. If you’re not a registered voter in Washington State, register to vote online at the Secretary of State’s website. You can also update your voter registration if you’ve moved or need to update it in any way.

Get as many of your friends, neighbors and co-workers to sign I-1068 as possible.

Fill out and sign the declaration on the back of I-1068 before mailing in or dropping it off.

Please send your signed copy of I-1068 to us no later than the end of Monday, June 28. Mail them to Sensible Washington, 3161 Elliott Avenue, Suite 340, Seattle WA 98121. You can fold the initiative and place it in a regular envelope.

You can also use our map of drop-off locations if you prefer.

Please mail in or drop off your signed copies of I-1068 as soon as possible or by the end of Monday, June 28th.

If you run out of room and need more petitions than you have access to, print more on 11×17 paper, or contact your local coordinator.

Thank you for supporting I-1068 and helping to get it on the November 2010 ballot!
